What is the Usenet and what can I find in the Usenet?

The Usenet is a worldwide network that was developed parallel to the Internet. Its main focus is on the information exchange of a multitude of subjects, organized in so called newsgroups.

Even though an Internet connection is necessary to access the Usenet, it is a stand-alone platform.

Accessing the Usenet, you can find help for a variety of issues, take part in discussions or recall data.
